Dr. Kate Prendergast B.A. Hons (London), M. St., D.Phil (Oxon) gained a First in History from the London School of Economics (1987) and went on to take a D.Phil in Archaeology at the University of Oxford (1998).
She has taught undergraduates at Oxford, UEL and elsewhere.
Kate is Managing Director of ISIS Ltd., a communications and research consultancy, with a focus on how to extend and develop the integrity and accessibility of information in this 'information age'.
A communications professional, Kate publishes widely in journals and magazines and has contributed to several volumes of collected research papers. Her areas of specialism include archaeo-astronomy, ritual and religion and the archaeology and history of landscape including the Stonehenge landscape. She has also written on Middle Eastern and African archaeology and history, and on more contemporary concerns such as climate change, sustainability and development.
With a strong interest in the research and documentation of family history, she also maintains a family history blog.
